Inspiration
Aside from Aubrey Beardsley and Andrea Mantegna, I have many artists that inspire me.
Carmen Dionyse (1921- ?)
Camille Rose Garcia
Camilla D'Errico
Esao Andrews
Lola (Fine Art)
Shohei (It's all ballpoint pen!)
Shohei's Website
Jeremy Hush (uses ballpoint as well!)
Paintings and The Progress
More Sebastian and more bees.
It's for painting class.
I make them to be separate entities from my drawings.
However, if there is overlap of concepts,
that is intentional. I am only one person after all,
yet I am more than one artist.
St. Sebastian in Ink
I want to fix where the gold metal leaf smudged onto the black.
Other than that, I am pretty please with how this turned out.
The woman with her arms reaching toward Sebastian is
supposed to be the woman who saves him and heals his wounds.
Any paintings of St. Sebastian leave her out because
sometimes different tales of this story don't have her in it.
I wanted to include her. Her arms are really too long.
"The Lady with The Monkey" by Aubrey Beardsley.
I primarily borrowed the way Beardsley lays out his compositions.
I just love the figures against solid black shapes.
The Way Things Look Is More Than You Know
My studio looks so discombobulated. However, it is far from dysfunctional chaos. That tissue box represents recurring colds due to cold weather. Anyways.................... my art is more
important that my health.
This above piece are two SL avatars. This is just
a for fun, non-serious piece. I am dumping out all thoughts of
crazy out onto this one.
This depicts the Australian singer/musician Jonti. Check him out
he's pretty cool. This is not finished yet. I need to
paint in the features of the face and finish his foot.
And this is sketch of St. Sebastian by Andrea Mantegna
